Herschel Walker Former NFL Football Player, Mental Health Awareness Advocate. He released his memoir titled Breaking Free, where he shares the inspiring story of his life and diagnosis with dissociative identity disorder. From the joys and hardships of childhood to his explosive impact on college football to his remarkable professional career. He gives hope to those suffering from DID. Herschel shows how this disorder played an integral role in his success and how he has learned to live with it today.

 

 

Patty Duke

Since the publication of her autobiography, "Call Me Anna" and her second book "A Brilliant Madness", Oscar winning Actress and mental health Advocate, Patty Duke spends a great deal of time and travel speaking on the topic of mental illness. Married to Firefighter Michael Pearce, she makes her home in North Idaho. It is here that they raise their teenage son, Kevin.




Mark Ballas

When Mark Ballas isn't performing, he is passionate about speaking to children about acceptance. Six years ago, he and his family were forever altered by the suicide of his uncle, David. Ballas and his mother, Shirley (David's sister), formed The Ballas Foundation in the fall of 2010, which is committed to removing the stigma associated with mental illness and suicide by raising money, awareness, and volunteerism in support of suicide

Fisher is a true survivor whose victory over substance abuse, outspoken activism on behalf of the mentally ill, and hilarious takes on Hollywood and motherhood have made her a perennially popular figure on the lecture circuit.Carrie has been a compelling force in American culture for decades. From her feature film debut opposite Warren Beatty in Shampoo while still a teenager, to her meteoric rise to fame as Princess Leia in Star Wars.




LaDonna Gatlinn

LaDonna Gatlinn knows firsthand that we can’t live someone else’s dream, that in order to be our absolute best, we must find our own voice and “sing our own song.” She has spent her entire career empowering people to “sing their own song" from the inside out through their words, their deeds, and their actions. An active member of the National Speakers Association, LaDonna has earned its highest professional designation, the Certified Speaking Professional. LaDonna is a contributing writer to the best-selling book series Chicken Soup For the Soul.
